Ode to a Shibuya blonde

In the shop, a gal I meet
Blonde hair tied back, tanned head to feet
We share a laugh, shake hands to greet
I take her number, we begin to tweet

On a Friday eve, a dinner date we plan
And it goes off cheerfully as it had began
A gal she is, and I: a man
Then onto karaoke; a perfect date for Japan

A song, a drink, a stolen kiss
What of the last train? That surely we will miss?
Her concerns are true, although I simply dismiss;
A love hotel is near, has it come to this?

An open room we find, and in we go
Out of the cold, to me her tattoos she will show
Heavy petting follows, as we derobe
On the sofa, bed and bathtub, our wild oats we sow

Later, post coitus, she tells me of her boyfriend
The message is clear, this marks the end
She swears to leave him, an honest women she will mend
Distrust I feel, on her way; I send

This short fling marked the end of the year
The end of old habits, and mass consumption of beer
At the age I have reached, I feel a change is near
And thus I wish you the best, in good fortune and cheer

  2. Hahaha! You were so Shakespeare-like just now. Yeah, the crux of it is that I'm just re-prioritizing the way I spend my free time. I've been heading in this direction for a while and now I feel I need to make a conscious effort to put meeting girls, drinking alcohol, and shooting my mouth off on this blog, into a lower bracket of importance and spend more time developing other things. The amount of time I've spent writing this blog is insane, and to think that at least 60% of it was written while I've been drunk, with the other 40% while hungover is also insane. It has all been very therapeutic and I don't regret it as such, but feel I'm moving past it.

I don't think I will be able to give up chasing girls immediately and completely though. You know, a leopard and his stripes aren't changed easily, or whatever that phrase is. Especially right now when I don't have a girlfriend at all and no hints of one being on the horizon.

Having said all that, I do have a date this weekend...

  3. Preposterous, says I! Thou shalt not re-prioritize picking up tanned blond gyaru over anything else, or may your soul be doomed on the...

    OK, enough of that.

I see what you're saying though. If you feel that you need to move your life in a certain direction, then go for it. At least you've had many fun experiences, and it's always been entertaining to read your blog. As long as you have no regrets about what you're doing, it's all good. Even if you don't pick up girls as much as you used to, I'm sure those skills will serve you well in one way or another with whatever you choose to do in the future.

I am far less experienced than you, but I've also been contemplating reducing the frequency at which I chase tail recently. Mainly because I'm disappointed with myself and my game, despite having put TONS of effort into it. But if I quit now, It'll make me feel like I never tried as hard as I could, and that feeling sucks even more.

  4. What happened to this blog? http://lovehoteljapan.blogspot.jp/ The skank supposedly got married suddenly years ago after riding the cock carousel hard.

  5. I read that girl's blog from the beginning and in a way it might have inspired me to write this blog. She was enjoying the single life and being in Japan and wrote about such topics. It was pretty interesting and unique. Incidentally, she HATED my blog. Ha!

Anyway, after seeing the good and bad she was lucky enough to find the right guy for her to settle down with. And so she deleted the blog's contents and got married without looking back. Good for her.

    1. Or so we were led to believe. I doubt she'd be found married now.

  6. I came back to this blog and noticed it's been a good six months since this final post. So out of curiosity, I wonder how your life has been? Are you realizing the projects you had set out to realize in the beginning of the year?

  7. If all goes to plan, there will be a 'summer of blogging' from me. Much, possibly too much will be revealed. Beginning around August.
